    Question crappie jigs

As a novice to crappie fishing in general I dont have much experience using lures to catch them. My question is...what type of jigs (colors, size etc) work best on landing Fl crappie? I'll be down bass fishing Lake Istakpoga in Feb and want to spend some time pursuing specks.

My collection includes hand tied buck tail and maribou on basic jig heads, store bought jigs like "hal flys" (color and weight viariety), road runners (color variety), and even baby rattle traps. Depending on the day and place I'm fishing, they all come in handy. I also add a curly tail to my jigs when I need a little more movement in the presentation.

blakemore jigs in chartruse work great in all the lakes I have fished for crappies in Florida. Drifting or slip cork rigged.
