ok guys where do you think we are until the bobers can be pulled out and the banks are fished for those spawning crappie at truman? would a week be too soon to think?

They've been caught with bobbers since last week, but only in the places Marvin Deckard is fishing. It's not hot and heavy yet, to my knowledge, but should be getting better every day.

We found 68 degree water out of Otter Creek on Wednesday, but no bite. Storm Tuesday night got blamed.

If its starting now, it is a lot earlier than it has been in recent years. I hope it holds out until later in the month, when I'm heading down to Hickory Hollow- Tightwad for 5 days.
