Default LOZ in the WIND today

Went today in the WIND. Put in at Coffman, fished main lake and a little bit of the gravois. Main channel had about 3 foot whitecaps. Caught 11 keepers and threw back a few. Limit would have been no problem if you could hold the boat anywhere. Caught come nice 11-12" females in about 6-8 feet of water in cuts/points off of large coves, males were a little more shallow. Water temp 54-58 degrees....ITS getting close.

Yea the water temp all over the lake is about right for the spawn, once the daylight hours get right, it will be on.

Was there a lot of females? Or were the shallow ones males still, if they were shallow at all? I'm heading there Friday, so I'll keep everyone updated.
