DonG, the numbers have been good but not the quality, the last few times I've gone. I was night fishing thou. Post a report tomorrow I would like to know how you did and the water temp. I'll probably fish there Thur or Fri night.
Well Blackie & I are going to try one of our old favorites tomorrow. High Rock was a great crappie lake until the drought a couple of years back. We have heard some pretty good reports in the last couple of days so we thought we would tune up our skills before going back to Watts Bar for the Fall Brawl.
For those who don't know, High Rock is just south of Lexington, NC

Well we fished from around 9:00 to 3:00 and brought home 18 keepers. The largest was 11 1/2". I really don't know how many we caught but it was way way up there. We had a lot of 9" fish. We had several 10" but not as many as the smaller ones. Does High Rock now have a 10" limit? It looks like the fish are returning but it will be a while before it gets back the way it was. All in all we had a great day..Originally Posted by slab_seeker
