Default degassing / fizzing /swimbladder fish

Not necessarily a crappie question. We caught a bunch of bass longline trolling 20' deep diving crankbaits a few weeks ago. When the fish were brought up and put in the livewell they immediately started rolling onto their backs and acting labored swimming trying to get off the surface. We brought back 2, 4# and 5# for a small shallow pond 4-5'. Both fish floated at the surface on their sides until startled then took off for the bottom. One recovered and not seen the other floated on its side for an entire day then recovered slightly and was able to stay upright but stayed floating with its back breaking the surface for 3 days that i saw. Anyone have experience with swimbladders?
