Welcome to the Nebraska board, LimitedCatch:
Yes, I was just there yesterday and it is in. The office and bathrooms aren't open yet tho. I tried to call Chuck at the Marina to see if he had bait in yet but never got thru to him.
The Crappie are staged and ready to start spawning. This cold snap will put them off again now. The main lake water temp was 49-50 degrees and in most of the coves. The one cove on the NW end is 50-60 degrees.
I caught quite a few after I found them and figured out what they wanted. They didn't care for minnows. Not yesterday anyways. Good fishing to ya. EB

Ended up going to Summit. Too windy to mess around with smaller lures that probably would have produced better results. Caught one crappie on a drop shot wax worm and a couple bass on jigs and crank baits. Good to get out for the first time since ice season. Water temp was 50-51 over most the watershed.

I use to farm the ground that Summit lake is sitting on. The yellow farm house west of the lake is where I was raised. Tekamah area is where I grew up. EB
