holy crap man!! thats pretty scary i think i woulda shat myself!
Went crappie fishing today, and well it went real bad. Some how the plug came out and we took on water. Its my cousins boat we took and it submerged up to the front livewell. We had a guy get to us and tied a rope and luckily enough made it to the bank and was able to get the water out and save the boat. My question is since ive never seen it happen but what do you do to the motor once it has been submerged. It wasnt running when it went down.

ugliest crappie you ever seen
I had a boat get flipped upside down one time. I pulled the plugs and filled everything with oil to get the water out. Pulled all the lines, blew them out with air. Disposed of the gas and filled her up again. Reattached the fuel lines, took the front of the carb off and started pumping the ball until all I could see coming out was gas.
She ran better after the ordeal than ever before!
Not sure if this is the right thing to do but it worked for us.
