Sounds like a good time, I'm still shooting for that 15" fish this year. Nothing like sneaking around docks catching slabs.
Got out on thursday before I left town for arkansas. Left the boat at home and walked some docks. There were huge schools of black crappie in empty slips with about 6 to 10 ft water. caught some nice slabs on black/silver and orange/white. Schooled fish were pretty skitish when casting into them they would spook. Just had to keep movin and then comming back to keep them bitting. Right before I was leaving I caught a 15 in 1.6lbs whiteIll post pics when I get back in town today!

good for the lad, nice report, I love it when they bite in them boat wells. LOZ has more docks in one run then stockton does on the whole lake, congrats on the good day.
I beleive the count if 56,000 docks
Looks like you and your son had fun!
Nice report and nice fish! Congrats
That's great stuff. You might want to get that pic framed, it is THAT good; wow, just don't get much better than that!. They grow up before you know it. I remember just like it was yesterday when my son was that age, we'd spend hours at a little pond we fished in Colorado; I'd hook a trout or a catfish, yell over to him (he was usually off throwing rocks or sticks in the water) and he'd come running 100 MPH so that he could reel him in. Special, special times.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
He loves to go fishin with me I give him the fish I catch and he kisses them and thows em back its pretty funny!
