    Default New Crappie Pole

I am going to buy a new crappie pole in the new couple weeks.

    I am looking at
    1. 10ft Wally Marshall
    2. 10ft BnM

These two have been talked about alot
is there any other I should be looking at..

I usually do lot of jig fishing..very little
trolling because the lake is 15ft deep or less
and pretty small.. electric motor will take me
    around it in 45 miinutes...

    Holds a lot of crappie...

    Would appreciate all the comments...

Since you are looking for a 10' rod and jig fishing (probably verticle tightlining or pitching), my recommendation would be any brand that you feel comfortable with as long as it is graphite. The graphite will allow you to feel a much lighter bite than a less expensive glass rod.

    Default Poles

Charlie55, I Have Had Both And I Troll Must Of The Time, The
Wally Marshall Jig Poles Are Very Sensitive And I Think You Would
Be Very Pleased With Them For Jigging, But For Just Trolling I Think
B&m Would Be The Best Choice Because You Don't Need All The Sensitvity, The Crappie Hook There Self Trolling So My Choice For
Trolling Is Fiberglass Rods And They Are Much Cheaper.
Also That Lake You Are Fishing Sounds Like A Very Good Lake To Troll To Me {not Deep} And Lot's Of Crappie You Say,sounds Like
Heaven To Me. Of Course This Is Just My Opion.

the wally marshall is going to be heavier than the bnm and i think less sensitive than the bnm in my opinion. i have both and like the bnm's much better. both are good poles and i doubt you'll go wrong with either. you cannot buy extra tips for the wally marshall rod. i've already tried. the best advice i can give you is go to bass pro shop on a nasty weekend and spend a good amount of time when making your choice. for jigging you may want to look at the higher end line of each line. i dont have any experience there so i cannot offer advice.

    Cool Outlaw Poles

    Guys,
Get an Outlaw Crappie Pole. It's the best pole on the market. If you don't like it send it back. They also have afforable tip replacements.

There is no more sensitive pole on the market.
