    Angry When do fish bite?

When do fish bite? When you are using the pee can. When you walk back to turn on the aeriator. When you're in the cooler, making a sandwich, trying to zip up a plastic bag or opening a bag of snacks. When you're watching another fisherman catch fish, & wondering what you're doing wrong. When you're programing your depth finder. When you're tying on a new jig. When you hang up on one you are sure to get a bite on one of the others. When you're trying to light a cigarette or get a dip of snuff.

When do fish bite the best? The day before you get there & an hour after you leave.

That's funny but true. My 80 year old uncle says the fish always bite when you open the cooler and eat lunch. If we're not catching any, he'll say well lets eat lunch, they'll start biting as soon as we focus on eating. It's true more times than not.

fish bite whenever I'm not around, but when I'm there they got lock-jaw.
