    Default Wind Blown

I went this morning to Raccoon, Man it was bad windy as the day went on!! I was there at 930 til about 2:00 . I seen some other guys catch several small ones on slip bobber rigs, I used the lead head jig tipped with a minnow like I always do and caught 4 small ones in about 15ft of water.. Water temps were 50 and as high as 55 in the coves, but the crappie havent moved in yet. It will be awhile before I go back, that low water has got me screwed-up! Good luck if you go up there!
I still use one rod at a time!!

Yeah supposed to be even worse tomorrow with the winds. We got a "fire weather watch" up here in the northern half due to the winds and very low humidity. Supposed to be 35-40 mph gusts tomorrow and Saturday. So much for my plans of fishing in the nice warm weather. Think i will just wait until early next week where hopefully i will be able to keep my line in the water and not have to worry about the wind knocking me into the lake lol.
