    Default Crappie is heating up in Southern illinois


    Just started seriously crappie fishing 2 years ago and landed my biggest 2.76 lbs. It was almost as exciting as shooting a big buck. The pic is on my profile pic. Any tips on fishing ponds would be helpful don't have a boat.Thanx

    I have to get to a computer to downlaod a bigger pic right now I use my phone. I caught him on minnows in five foot of water in a pond in west frankfort.thanx for the welcoming

    Wavin a big Hello from Middle Tennessee. Cork and 1 jig to start, lower it a foot at a time til you get into fish, then repeat and refine. Long rods help casting these.
