    Default 4 days to Louisiana

Only 4 days left, till I am hooking into some slabs down south. My uncle called yesterday and caught 43 in 2 foot of water. I hope to have an ice chest full of pics when I get back. Hope everyone has a good day, good luck fishing this week.

It's going to be nice and hot and humid for you down there!... be careful of a heatstroke pulling in all those sac a laits. Try not to get sunburned, ain't much worse than being sunburned and skeeter bit at the same time.:p

What's the water of choice, Andy? Where ya gonna be fishin'? Be safe and post some slabs.

Andy, I wish you the best of luck on your trip to the Sportsman Paradise. May you be blessed with plenty of fish and lots of memories. Where are you planning to fish? The northern part of the state is hot right now.

I just got off the lake about 2 hours ago. I kept 16 crappie between 1.5 and 2#s. Must have caught 50 t0 60. Blue and white 2'' tube , 20 inches of line and 2 to 3 feet of water. The bass are on the beds, caught some nice ones after i got tired of catching crappie. I live on Lannan Bay, they are catching them under the Lannan bridge and the Aimwell bridge. I was looking for shaded Cypress trees in the coves next to deeper water. It should be a no brainer when you get to Toledo Bend!! Granite
