I had planed to get out saturday but it didnt work out that way. My team partner for bass events went to morse and had several bass over 4# and two in the 6# range. He said his best 5 would have been 21 or 22#. Of all day I couldn't get away.

cranking, sorry I cant give up the pattern. Team events coming up. He did say there was one little thing you had to look for and it had to have it to hold the fish.

Sat. was a slow day. Fish were turned off due to the coldfront, water was cool and very muddy. Wind blew like a hurricane, would have been better off at home.

Found fish yesterday scattered in the flats in typical pre-spawn fashion. The wind actually helped as it allowed me to drift about 100 yds in hour and a half.(with the anchor down) Any fish in structure seemed to be sleeping. Couldn't even pull a gill off of it. Fish definatly backed off with the weather, but the bigger fish were still pretty hungry. Only threw back two, managed 8 all over 12" and mix of gills and ears. I love how the weather always seems to be less than stellar on the weekends. With the muddy water and impending warm sunshine, I wish I could take this week off!!

I anticipate the waters to be farely crowded next weekend......at least they should be.
