Went back up a creek

I went back to the place where I started catching them as it was getting dark the other day. This time I was night stalking since it was about 70 degrees when I started out and was only getting down to mid 40s. I started catching crappie almost immediately. I had minnows, jigs, and jigs with minnows set out vertical fishing and was casting a jig. I caught a few on all of them. I ended up with 8 good keepers (11-14") and a bunch of 10 and unders. I caught a 16" hybrid, one white bass and a 19" largemouth on a black and charteuce crappie jig, all released. the crappie turned off and I went bass fishing around a marina and kept one 14" LM. All in all I'd say it was one of the better nights I've had recently. I just never could get anything going constantly. It was really hit and miss. I did a lot of missing!:rolleyes:
