rod/reel combo

just curious i'm looking to get a couple nice ultra light rod and reels..
just wanted to know what the best for the buck is around the $30-40 market
seen a mitchel combo for 42.99.... just want something little bit better than my normal walmart specials...

wally marshall signature series combos at bass pro. They go for $39 but are often on sale for $29. Its a good 1-piece rod blank, good eyes, 6'6" i think is the longest ive seen, but they go down to 5' maybe shorter.
The reel is good (just keep it dry, word to the wise).

I like the ugly sicks for shooting docks. Bass Pro has the combos for $30.00 iI think.

Get Berkley rods, they are in your price range, and are really good blanks
