Default I am going to order this motor this week

With the great new financing rate at Honda Motors I could not resist. However, just before I pull the trigger on this 9.9 Honda motor for my small 14 foot J. Studebaker - 1957 Aluminum Boat, I thought I would get the crappie.com input.

Am I marring the wrong women (motor)?

Thats the same model, but diffrent year, that i'm going to either sell or trade in on a new 20 hp. Should push your 14ft pretty good. I have a heavy lund mr pike and i'd like more power for when i fish Pymatuning and wilhelm. Mines a 2003 with title.

Hard to go wrong with a Honda. You might want to consider a 15 or 20hp though. I have a 14' boat as well with a 15hp Merc. It moves along ok but I wouldnt want to go any smaller.

Pymy went to 20 hp but I think it will be a little more weight then I want. However, I might consider a 20 for pymatuning if it wasn't to heavy. Does your Honda still run good? PM me Chaunc if you have a price in mind.
