Default LOZ Wter Temp and Clarity

Heading for the lake tomorrow evening. Can anyone tell me the water clarity and temp in the Gravois, Glaize, and/or Niangua? Trying to decide which area to fish. Thanks.

I fished the Gravois last week before the cold front and found water temps from 42 to 48 depending on the location and time of day. Water clarity varied from area to area with about 3 ft. the best. Good luck. Can't help you since the front blew through.

    Hey DADAKOTA, lost?
Gravois when I went last thursday was around 44-46, and water had a nice stain, but not muddy.

Just need to put on my coat and cap and I'm out the door to crappie fish in north buck creek and the gravois arm. Water temp was in the 42/45 range monday . I was not in gravois monday .. the water color is great I think 2' the 3' in buck creek. Will check out gravois this am and report back. We had rain and snow over the week end but did not change buck creek. Last Thursday and Friday i did see boats fishing next to the bank for crappie and did see fish going in the live well.. I was green fishing so can not report on the size or number of crappie.... but this a.m. I'm out he door for crappie..............

well it must be me ... could only fine five small crappie today...... what can I say.. water temp this morn was only 38.8 at 9:a.m. buy later afernoon 44.1 I started in north buck creek fishing a dock that always has something.. bass, blue gill, and crappie ...not a thing, nothing.. so I go to the back of buck creek to two small brush piles.... one small crappie..... O.K. up the gravois to raccoon cove fish two docks and a small brush pile .. move the deeper water then to points.. fish for about 2-- 2 1/2 hours .. zero.. buy this time it is after lunch time go back home have some lunch hope this will change my luck.. O.k. time is now 4:15 p.m. go to south buck creek fish a bank that I like set in 18' to 20' of water and throw to the bank with a hot grub dark green with neon tail... did get four crappie one 10" the others smaller... The water color was so so in front of north buck but as you go to the back it has a darker color to it with some leaves and green slime floating around but the very back of cove is must better water about the same in raccoon cove.. did not go up gravois arm past mill creek water temp was in the 38.0 temp make need to fish a small tube bait deep .... need bugman to show me the loz technique............ jimmie thanks for your help getting back on c.c.

Sorry crankbait i'm not much help right now myself........i fished the upper glaize yesterday and we didn't fare much better i think we released close to one limit, yesterday was a day of dinks we must have caught 100 short fish,we found plenty of fish but couldn't make the big-uns bite.
Water temp was 47-49 and had a great color to it just under a ft of visability, these cold nights and the water temp swings are whats killin us right now.I fished up the gravois last week and we only had 18 so i'm not much help there either,Baker done well one day up there but i'm not sure where on the gravois maybe he can get you started i'm gonna stick with the glaize for another couple weeks before i head back that direction.
