Default Ky Lake Fishing from Cane Pole

Fishing was excellent this past Friday. Fishing minnows in 8-12 ft. Saturday, AM, wind came up, temp dropped, fish shut up. Sunday, things livened up again. I was fishing brush piles in 6-10 ft ( West Sandy ) and caught a bunch of bass. Bill Dance would have been proud.lol. Eased out to Big Sandy-West Sandy area. Caught a few nice slabs in this area along drop offs (using minnows). Not much action with jigs unless tipped with minnows. Water table has dropped to about 255.5 in this area. Winter pool is upon us. Also did a little mapping along the way. I love technology!!!!! Got my depth finder working. Dont know how much you need it til u loose it. All in all, a good weekend.

Cane Pole......Your description of the Sat. trip sounds much like my forays this summer, except I didn't have the pleasure of the preceeding Friday. Fishing has been tough here in LA, and seems it's that way even in the Northern climes. What bothers me most is that there is no hard and fast facts that we can catalog in our banked info to call on when this happens again. And it will.....Good fishing!!
