Sweet!!!! I'm itchin to get back on the water. gotta get the boat out of storage and all first. Was this at that spot you told me about last year?

We took a family trip to Niagara Falls for the weekend, so no fishing or snow goose hunting for me.

Last weekend we did OK on the snows though:

    Thanks Fatman.
We don't have any snow decoys, we saw a huge flock in a friend's cow pasture, and used the out-buildings (barn, sheds, etc) to sneak up on them and start shooting.

We're planning to get a couple hundred Texas Rags and maybe a dozen full-body decoys for next year. I've got contact info on another 4 farmers to get permission from, so next year we'll have a lot more places to hunt them.

I threw a couple breasts on the smoker last weekend and they were GOOD! Much better flavor & texture meat than the Canada's.

I'm planning to pull the boat out of storage next weekend, been getting my gear all ready, taking some inventory and will be heading to BPS one evening this week to restock the stuff I'm short on - especially chart crappie tubes.
