Hi! Went to Harney today. Did farily well for the conditions we had. Light rain off and on and windy at times.
We fished the canel and ended up with 26 nice size crappies. We used jigs tip with minnows. We used a 1/32 jig, tiped with a minnow. The best color was a gray head with a brown body and tail.
It sure is not like last year. Really have to work for what you get.

Went again today by myself. Wind was a problem today. Kept blowing me into the area I wanted to jig in. Did end up getting 8 real nice crappies. Caught them all on the gray and brown jig tiped with a minnow. Would not take any other color.
Hope to get back out friday before I head to Iowa for Christmas. Then back on the 29th for the good life.
