    Default Patoka Crappie

Ran up to Patoka after work yesterday afternoon. We caught 19 keepers the biggest fish were in 25 feet of water. We caught our fish in the mouth of two coves where they were staging.

Good job. Those late evening trips can really be effective this time of year , gettting the warmest water of the day. What technique you guys using to catch them?

fliping a jig tipped with a nibble or at times a meal worm and letting it swim back to the boat they bit real light so my 4lb line helped detect bites.
