    Thumbs up Wappapello Report

Don't Know If That Is The Way The Name Of The Lake Is Spelled.
Never Been There Myself But A Guy I Work With Grew Up Around
The Lake And Went Fishing This Last Weekend With Relatives
Who Live Close To The Lake. Said Six Of Them Caught About 200
Crappie, Fishing Around Lay Downs In Four Feet Of Water On The Flats. He Said The Lake Was Way Down And That Was Where His
Relatives Had Found The Fish. Using Small Plastic Jigs, Different
Colors, He Used Chartruse And Black. Fish Werent Real Big But
There Was A Lot Of Em. Don't Think He Was Lying.

    Regards
    Chef

Have'nt fished WAP. in years Chef, but I think it still turns out some pretty good fishin. Wap. is known for eating up props, lots and lots of stumps and logs. But thats just more structure aint it, just got to take it slow.

Was just thinking, their used to be some good reports from Piroque on Wapp. You still out there Piroque? I for one enjoyed the reports. Going to Reelfoot this spring and now thinking of a few hours on Wapp. on the return home.

When did you move from SW-MO back to SEMO? Is wappapello about 75 miles from you now?

i moved back last week and as far as distance goes, i can make it from my house to the lake in no more than an hour. glad to be back, but i'll sure miss swmo. so many good lakes that are close by.
