    Question Condo Questions

I have recently "placed" some new plastic condos. This is my first attempt but do have some questions. How long will it take for algea (sp) to start growing, is there any additonal preparation steps to do other than to sink the condos, should I expect to catch fish off these condos this coming fishing season?

I Think Algae Is Over Rated. It Is Something You Want On Your
Pipe, But You Can Catch Fish Without It Being Heavy On Your
Plastic. I Understand From A Conservation Guy That It Starts
Growing As Soon As The Plastic Is In The Water, Its Just A
Matter Of How Much And How Fast It Grows. We Have Caught Fish
Within Days Of Putting Out Attractors, But It Depends On The
Season, Water Depth And Structure Where You Placed The
Attractors. If You Put Them In Shallow Water, And The Fish
Are Deep, They Probably Wont Work Until The Fish Move Shallow,
I Am Convinced The Plastic Will Attract Fish. If You Dont Fish Out Of Them This Coming Season, I Think You Will Be Missing Out. Just My Opinion.

    Best Regards

Chef, thanks for the information. On this lake I have placed 43 brushpiles over the years, there is alot of maintence involved with brush. I think plastic will be more lasting and have a very good supply available for use. Just looking for opinions and ideas since I have not used plastic before.
