You are very welcome. I hope this board is very successful. Thanks for the suggestion, and thank for volunteering to moderate.

Not a whole lot of trout fishing to be had in Illinois, but the state does stock some selected waters in the spring and fall. Doesn't compare to fishing in the Rocky Mountain waters.

    Default Trout Page

My brother and I do some trout fishing below the hatchery at Mammoth Spring Ar. on Thursday and Fridays, the days they release fish.
We have a ball catching those Rainbow's, and some times we hook up with some nice one's, but we release all we catch.
Arkansas has some great trout fishing. I have a house in Cherokee Village about a mile from the Spring River, I can here the river when it's high and running strong as it flows though the golf course near my house.
Spring River has more Walleye than Trout, and some great small mouth fishing.
Houses are very cheap here, I couldn't believe it when my brother told me about it. It's very nice here with mostly retired folks, that play golf and trout fish.
I sound like I'm promoting this place...lol, I'm just so happy to be away from the crime. It so nice here, yall got to come to the Ozarks and check out the cheap houses at Cherokee Village.
