I like the 1/16 because i can feel light strikes better but i do have luck on 1/8 during spring and fall.

I’m curious what the distribution of favorite jig sizes are. I was in the boat house and they would only hit 1/8ths even with calm and cold water. They wouldn’t touch the 1/32ths. I would have figured smaller would have been better, so wonder if 1/8th isn’t the way to go most of the time which is counter to what I grew up doing with 1/32nds usually.

Woman Love me, Fish fear me!
1/16th is my favorite, then probably 1/8th. I do not generally do well on 1/32
I like the 1/16 myself, but funny thing is,I catch more fish on heavier jigs.I have been using a 1/10 Ultra Minnow exclusively since I found them, and I think they give 4 and 6 pound test a lttle stretch and make you feel even the slightest nibble.Depends on which rod your fishing with.
"Garden Hackler"lol
I use 1/8 pretty much all year round.

1/32 is my fav
Its not really preference as much as feel. If im fishing in a reservoir early or deep im probably going to go with 1/16 or 3/32 because of the depth, wind and current. Given a choice id rather fish shallow water with a float and a 1/32, but it doesnt always work out that way. I just cant get the feel im happy with using a 1/32 in deeper water and if i went up to 6lb test it probably wouldnt hardly straighten the line out.
I just poured a bunch of heads today mainly 1/16 and 3/32 heads but everything from 1/32 to 1/4 with no4 and 2 hooks

1/16th, 1/8th, 1/24th are my go tos...
1/32 is my go to and the one I use the most in the winter and spring with 6 lb. test. Use 1/64 during the summer with 4 lb. test. have used 1/16, but perfer not too.
