Not to sound like an arse or anything, but just curious, why? I love to use telescopic rods for shallow fish, those who know me, know this is about my favorite way to fish. But why go to all the trouble of mounting a reel and putting guides on a telescopic rod, why not just pick up a cheap jig pole?

I bought some from Bass Pro, and some from Grizzly Jig... like the ones from Grizzly better, and they were cheaper (as if EVERYTHING at Grizzly wasn't less expensive than BPS)!!!:D

    Default Home Made Eyes

I started spider rigging with 14 bm fiberglass rods. I made homemade eyes out of paperclips bent and clipped then taped to the rod with electrical tape. Works great, and cheap.
