What are y'alls feeings about someone saying that they caught fish in "body of water X" when in reality it was "body of water Y"?
I realize that we all have our own little secret spots and I don't think anyone is looking for GPS numbers but do you folks think is it wrong or unethical to be deceiving people to this extent?
I am used to people doing this. I have learned which people I can believe and which ones I can't. I personally will answer all questions honestly or just state that I would rather not tell, instead of lying.

depends on how your fishing... for money yeah its ethical, why put in the time and thought to let me an out a towner swoop in and take your hard work...
At rite there's just funny.
They probably think that since it came out of a body of water in within our boarders, it belongs to them any way, so what does it matter?
They really gettin to be a pain in my back side.
Answer to your question. Catch 'em, prove it, and don't let play unsupervised with the children any more.
Really want to punish 'em, take away their cell phone. They can't text, tweet, etc., which mean that they will NOT know how to communicate with anyone.
If I'm catching fish on a stumpflat or a old roadbed or even under a bridge I don't mind telling someone so they can go catch'em too. We've put several brushtops & bamboo buckets out the past 3 or 4 years and unless someone sees us camped out on one of them we've got them to ourselves.
Many would say that the truth is not in most fishermen.
