Welcome to s e mo. Not really alot around there unless you fish the little rivers around there or trout fish at the parks. Sorry I couldn't help much.
Good luck
Just moved into the Farmington area and was wondering if there were any spots to fish in the area other that Wapapello. Also looking for anybody in the area that does any duck hunting. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There are a few places around to fish other than Wappapello, just depends on what you're after. Not a lot of places that have very many crappie. I live in Doe Run, 3 miles west of Farmington. Give me a holler sometime and I would be glad to show you around the area. Oh, and hence the name I duck hunt a lot.
Welcome to the board. You live a good little drive from very consistent duck hunting, unless we're froze up. That should get you to thinking about it a little. Can't tell it all, brother.
You and duxihnt come down and hunt with us sometime.
From Farmington you could cross at Chester and fish Illinois. Cedar, Kinkaid,
and Lake Egypt are all good for crappie.
Hey Talltimber....you hunt with anyone named J Rhodes in that area???
I grew up in the bootheel in good old Portageville but I have been gone for almost ten years chasing a career through Kentucky, West Virginia, and Indiana. Glad to be back close to home. Know the areas from Wapapello south pretty well but not familiar with much this side. You hunting somewhere this side of Wapapello Dux. Would be glad to tak you up on the offer of showing me around. We will have to get in touch. I Crappie fish alot, duck hunt every day I can from Canada to Arkansas and deer hunt the rest of the time. I will post everything I can to help everyone else but it will take a little bit to get acclamated. Thanks
