You'll love it for jigging and maybe even dock shooting if there are not to many obsticles to smack, lol.I have 2 of the same rods and use them all the time.Love it for slip bobber and worms where channel cats lurk.6 lb. test.
Well I finally bought my new UL rod today. I got a 7' Ugly Stick Light Pro Fast tip cork handle for 6-10 lb line. We'll see how it works this season. It's the first Ugly Stick I've ever bought, wife didn't even complain about it.
Haven't told her I need to buy a reel to match it yet!!!!!

"Garden Hackler"lol
Pretty much what I bought it for, plus it has a 5 year guarantee and it was cheap. Had also decided I was gonna try something other than a Shimano or BPS rod this year so this was it, of course it's gonna have to have a Shimano reel on it.

I don't have that exact ugly stick, but I have several. I really like them. Enjoy the new rod.
