    Default Newbegun Creek again

Things are slowly picking up. 11 keepers along with 2 big bream and 2 nice raccoon perch and 1 bass 15" long. Water temp is down to 74. Next weekend should be even better with night temps getting down into the 50's. Most were caught on Northland Fire Fly jigs (pink/white and black/yellow) and a minnow.

CF, most came from 5 ft water fishing 2-3 feet deep. My neighbor fished Blackwater river in Va beach the other day and was pulling them off the bank and around duck blinds in 1-2 ft water. I think he had about 24 keepers in 2 days. Hoping to get up tp Beaverdam for the 1st time Thurs.
