Rod Holder Placement Question

I Spider Rig and have an 8 pole set up on the bow. I'm in the process of adding 2 more Tite Lok Ultras that I have to the back. Each Mount will hold up to 4 rod holders But I'll probably only run 2 or 3 on each right now. I'm wanting to do this for when I have the 3rd person in the boat and for pulling crank baits.

What are some things you would take into consideration when deciding where to place these mounts?

I want to be able to point the rods forward or backwards.

At times I will have drift socks to deal with.

I will probably use 14' rods in the back ro get the out of the "used" water.
