Default Mr. Crappie pro series rod holder system

Does anyone use these and if so will they hold up over time? I would like to get a rig for tightlining and this seems to be the most affordable. I can only use three rods, but would probably go with a four rod holder.

I used the Mr. Crappie rod holder systems for 4 years and then sold them. They worked good and held up good but I decided to try some metal ones. I switched over to Driftmasters and used them for 1 year and then switched to Hiteks.....Hiteks in my opinion is the best you can get.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    Default Check Driftmaster also

You should check out all options and decide what suits your purpose best. Metal rod holders will be with you for a long time and can be modified if need be. Plastic is plastic and will break and deteriorate over time. Buy what best suits your needs as best you can determine and that you can afford. Remember you can add on later.

    Questions you should ask include:
Will these interfere with a trolling motor being raised and lowered?
If it does can they be moved out of the way quickly?
Will I be fishing for other species besides crappie?
Do the setups need to be removed, moved to different locations, or will they be permanent?
Do I want to use the rod holders off the T-bars for other purposes?

Check out Driftmasters at my website Extreme Fishing Concepts

A lot of people seam to like the Hi teks and others. I have not tried them. I bought some driftmasters H-250's and have not looked back. There is a lot of quality stuff out on the market now.
