    what would be a good trade value for 30 lbs of good lead?

    I paid about 10 cents a pount the last time for wheel weights, soft lead is harder to find for me id say 60cents to$1 a lb. should be fair

    I just got some good sheet lead for 50cents a lb but it was from a friend,like robbor said up to a buck is fair.

    It goes for .75 cent to $1.00 lb here.

    you should be able to get soft sheet lead uncleaned for $0.60 a pound and $0.80lb for cleaned

    Call me extremely lucky but I've never had to buy lead, but I'm gettin closeon cleaned pure until I get my melters up and running. Got lucky and picked up a WHOLE bunch from a local plumber.

    I go to the Cast Boolits site and the guys talk lead prices all the time. Up to a dollar on good pure lead is pretty good.

    You'd think for what it goes for nowadays we were striking money out of it instead of making fishing lures.

    Find an plumber .and get the old p traps they used yrs ago in old houses .real soft lead .
