anybody rigged up for side pulling?
It's funny, I was watching part of a show on side pulling on midwest crappie and the guy (can't remember his name) said he and his dad discovered they could catch crappie drifting with the wind and was doing pretty well till one day it was calm and decided they needed to rig their boat to pull sideways with a trolling motor.
I have drift fished for years for bluegill and of course depended on wind but same principle applies. Just easier for multiple people to fish out of the side of the boat.
I was wondering if any of you guys were rigged up to do this and how you did with it...and advantages over just plain long lining.
