Was up by the state park with the rest of the crew and could not find any size. after catching 1 limit decided to look elsewhere for bigger fish. should not have left. Found shad on the little sac but could not buy a bite. Here are the results.

Are they spawning? Wow 16 inches seems really shallow to me with the depths we have been fishing. Glad you got a mess!

Never thought of that. i did catch a few with eggs in them. Shallow to me right now would be 20 ft.

I ran into Darrell Jones today at Everhart's. He was putting out the flyers for the summer series tournaments for Vince. Have talked to him a few times before in there but did not who he was. Great guy. He will be at Bass Pro on the 13th and 14th giving crappie seminars from 10 to noon both days. If you are in the neighborhood look him up and say hello.

Everything but on there payroll. I work a couple blocks from there and swing in there a couple mornings a week and shoot the breeze. A lot of people think I do since I am in there so much. I pretty well know the whole store inside and out and am always helping people find things.

I talked to Darrell before the Truman crappie masters last year. He was pre-fishing with 2 lb test. The technique makes since the way he explained it to me. Basiclly it is just something different than what the fish are use to. Great guy so it should be an entertaining seminar and will be about a technique that most people have not heard of.
