Sure glad i was not running fast yesterday morning. air temp was 26 degrees. and I was just idling along. And this log, About 20 ft long and 30" through was just breaking the top of the water.
Fog was so thick I did not see it until it was within 30ft of me. When I left the boat ramp there was no fog. Got about 3 miles down the river and it closed in on me. Sure glad I had the GPS with me. It let me run the banks and not wonder if i would get hit by a tow boat.

    Pete
