I use many different rods so I couldn't pick just one that would do everything I ask out of a rod. I have rods for jigging, casting, spider rigging, nighstalking, pulling cranks and this year I have started longlining and shooting docks. If someone would make a superman rod that would work great on everything, that would be my 'dream rod' and I would want 10 of em.

my main use will be light jigging in a protected boat house (no wind, current, or casting) and structure is PVC so little worry about hang ups. something light and works in confined spaces, but can still handle 2-3 pounders.
