    Default Crappie Net

Anyone out there have a problem with their hooks getting caught in their net? I have a nice net, and was wondering if you sprayed truck bed liner or something on them if that would help. I looked at new nets, the rubber seems to heavy to handle one handed, and the coated ones that are extendable are expensive (around $70).

I figure if I can just spray truck bedline on mine it would solve this problem for $10.

Get you an Ego Reach net with the rubber basket. They are made by Adventure Products in Macon, Georgia. Go to www.adventureproducts.com
The Ego nets are not heavy at all and are 8.5 ft long. They are telescopic. They cost $39.99 and have free shipping.

In my opinion yes but you will not be able to just apply once and that be it, unless you only use it once or twice a year. I did this for a while. When I got tired of having to re-spray I got an EGO with rubber net. I am alot happier when fishing now.

Been dealing with one of the heavier rubber nets the last few years, but well worth having as to keep your hooks out of the net. However last year I got and Ego from Jay Don (Finnytribe.com) at his store and love how light it is.

I recently got a EGO Reach rubber net and it is very light...extends to 8 ft. 6 in. I really like it.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
