That's terrible!... but typical of the shingles.

Take your medication on schedule every day until they're all gone... and it won't hurt a thing to keep taking it after they're for a little while.

I know exactly how you feel... been there, done that, got the t-shirt and scars to prove it!!!

Try not to worry about it and make your life as stress-free as possible!

Like my sig says... Adapt, Improvise, and Overcome!!!

Hate to hear it rich. I'm just 36 years old and believe it or not I've had shingle episode's twice and both times I got them on my face. Not pretty and very painful. Let small scar's as well.

Try to keep the stress level down and attempt to do something if able to keep your mind off them.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

I had them at the age of seventeen, around my rib cage, still can see some of the scars over thirty years later.

Sorry to hear you're having such a bad time. Mine was a mild case. Feel better soon.
