    Default Hey Guys... new guy here


    .... just wanted to say hello. I am from Redding, CA in the extreeme northern part of Calif. I have spent the last 10 years or so as a total fly fishing nut chasing and guiding for trout all over Northern Calif. My two boys are now 8 and 3 so now I am changing gears a bit and getting back into more warm water fishing with traditionl tackle. I do enjoy catching slabs on the fly but the boat does get pretty small with two boys and a fly rod soI think we will stick to ultra light spinning gear for awhile. Anyway just wanted to say hello and see if anyone here fishes Shasta or Whiskeytown.
