    Default flathead minnows

Has any one used flathead minnows for crappie fishing instead of crappie minnows?

Fathead minnows are Crappie minnows, we call them Tuffies here in 'Bama.

I prefer Shiners if the Crappie are active, they look more like a Shad... but if the Crappie are being picky I opt for small Tuffies.

We call them Tuffies down here because too many fights got started in the boat... "Gimme another fathead"... "What did you call me???"
