    Default Hand Injector Recommendation

Can anyone please recommend a good hand injector that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I have a small one and may have to move up in size. I am looking at 4-6 oz in capacity.

Have you checked with bear, whoever made the mold would be a good place to start. That way the nozzle will fit the mold.

for low cost you may try dels but for speed of use bears is the best. push the plunger all the way on the tip pops off, plastic clears right out of it. put it back on and do it again. dels has a screw on tip that takes longer to clean between injections

Actually, the one I have came from Bears but I think it came with the wrong tip. It has a small offset nozzle and it makes it somewhat difficult to pour because it doesn't really fit in the hole. I have contacted him (today) but haven't heard anything back yet. I thought if I buy another, I would go ahead and go up in size because my new mold holds more plastic than my first one.

I use that tip on some of my molds that have the small injection port, and I have his medium tip for his molds that I have. Bear will do you right, I have had nothing but the best service from him

I just talked with him and he is making it right. He's a downright nice guy and very easy going.

Ok, is Bear a person or a company?? I want to try making some plastics myself and need some help. First where to have molds made. I have some ideas of styles but will need a custom mold made. do they have to be 2 pieces or can I have a mold made that I just pour into.

Bears, is a company good guy to deal with. Lots of 2 part molds, mostly bass fishing a few crappie items. I just placed a custom mold with him he talked like it would be a couple of weeks. BearsBaits
