Default Storing marabou jigs after use?

Is there any way to keep their tails poofy after you use them? Seems after I use a marabou jig, when it dries in the tackle box, the tail fuses into one solid piece and then they don't work as well.
    Don't worry, catch crappie.

I usually just throw mine on the carpet above the deck in my boat, like of the rod box. The the wind will puff them when running and I don't ever put wet jigs back in my box until they have dried well and sometimes a lot longer, LOL! I may just leave them where I put them after taking them off.

One thing you can do at home is wet it again and use the wife's hair dryer to dry them and they will puff again. Just dry against the way the feathers lay.

Also when I have one on my poles and run the boat the wind is usually blowing against them and they puff then too, sometime more than ever.

Never put them away wet in your regular box. As Skip said have a separate box and keep them in there until you get home and use the hair dryer to puff them back out.
