Nice enough to get a few built today. I will have these ready for fall fishing. Usually takes a while for the plastic to "hold" the treasures. Gotta give God's little Gummys time to work their magic.;)

How do you sink them? Just tie something on and bombs away? or is there something in the coffee canister?

Quickcrete in the cans. They sink like a rock.:) Cheap to make.

Hello Tom, Do you run a screw thru the pvc inside the can to hold things together, or rely on the concrete?

No. Just the bottom one. And the can is shifted more toward the bottom of the center pvc pipe.

This is all new to me. I don't know what I am doing. Just looks like it oughta work.

Screws /and or wire inside the can before I add quickcrete (whatever I have handy). The concrete (without wire) did not hold the pvc solid on my first try. Never tried this before. I am learning.

CP, have you tried using wood instead of the PVC with those cans? Going to start making some but the pvc just doesn't attract and keep them up here. I have some pvc out in some really good spots but wood seems to hold the fish better UP HERE.

Yep. Wood works good. I put some wood ones out last year. I am looking for some cane to rig up. Replace the pvc with the cane. These can rigs are easy to make and also easy to handle.

These sinks, but I need to take out a couple of slats in the middle. Not really needed and will sink easier. They are easy to handle too. The wood slats wedre cut to 30 inches (5 foot pieces cut in half). Wood came from saw mill scraps. Free.

I am learning as I go.

Does the algae do better if you lightly sand the pvc before putting out...
