Wylie limit 2-23
hit wylie this morning to waste some time and use up the 4 or so dozen minnows i had left over from previous days.
hit the first dock at roughly 900 and it was on fire...just for a few. in no time put 5 in the bucket all netters. then it slowed down to 1 here and 1 there, then suddenly i dont know if it was the sun breaking out, or the swift current that appeared out of no where, but it was on! it was everything i could do to keep 1 rod baited up out there. ran out of minnows at about 1230 and headed in. ran into David aka HD3 out there and he was in a mad rush to leave so he gave me his 4 fish he had caught, all of which were 1 1/2 + lbers, and 1 easially going over 2 lbs. had to count them all out to make sure i was legal before i went on my way. after culling 4 smaller fish from the well, i was right at 30.
fish caught roughly 8-16 ft deep. about 6-8 of the fish were slabs, but the rest were very chunky 11-13 inch 3/4 lb +/- fish.
looks like that may be it for a few more weeks again...until that weather changes.
