Osage River Crappie

Is the Osage River Lock and Dam (Mari-Osa) above hwy 50 good for crappie? I was going to try that area when the water drops back down to normal.

Never tried it but have heard crappie can be caught there,i've also heard the moreau upstream from there can be lights out if you catch the river and conditions right,sorry i'm not much help just goin by what i've heard.
