Default Table Rock Branson Spring Break

I am bringing the kids down over spring break March 20-27 for crappie, Branson vacation. I would appreciate any starting points for crappie in the Indian Point area.

Have you fished Table Rock before?
Normal years I would say to focus on gentle sloping gravel banks where you can find them. But it's been real cold this year so that pattern may be put out a couple of weeks.
I can say Indian Point can be a tough area of the lake for Crappie. No I know fishes that area specifically for Crappie. There are a lot of Bass caught in that area.

The Crappie Population is still repressed. 2005 we peaked. It was a phenomenal year. Since then we've been catching low quantities but with larger fish.

When the time gets closer, hopefully we can put you on a pattern.
Table Rock is one of the toughest Crappie Lakes I've ever been on.
A good day on Table Rock is a Mediocre day on Stockton, Truman or LOZ.

Thanks for your reply. I have decided to change our plans. A couple days in Branson, up to Springfield for a day, then on to Truman for fishing should make for a perfect spring break.

That sounds like a better plan. I'll be posting if it gets better on Table Rock.
Now that we have a feller from Blue Eye posting he can keep us appraised of what's going on in Long Creek. Down at Cricket (Ark) was good last spring.

May have to check that out next Sunday after church.
I'll need to have the boat outside the church ready to go.
We kicked but last year in April. May be a little later this year with the cold weather we've been having.
