1 day, 2 lakes, 1 crappie

well, not much to tell, but I'll post it anyhow. Drove to Norman this morning & fished deep brush piles, 30-40' with minnows & jigs. Caught 3 nice spotted bass & NO crappie in 5 hours. Gave up on the crappie & decided to hit Rhodhiss on the way home. 3 hours on Rhodhiss produced 1 crappie & two
14" yellow perch from brush piles from 15 to 30' deep. Great to be back on the water anyhow.
Water at Norman still very stained but not muddy, could see jigs @ 2' down.
water temp near hothole was 58 degrees.
Water at Rhodhiss was clearer than Norman & 40 degrees.
