Loz ice/fishin report

Tried to fish the upper glaize today and with the exception of about a 2 mile stretch between carnes and pb1 it was frozen with about 1/4-1/2 inch of ice,nedless to say the fishin sucked we caught 2 that would have kept and another half dozen or so dinksit was nice to at least be out for a while.

and the getting out after them, t-shirt here today and quarter size snow tomorrow evening.......... I know what I would like to say- but it would be X-rated.............

Dang, Ice sucks, only catching 2 keepers sucks, but getting out is cool.

No idea Mike but not good would be my guess,it was completly frozen from mccubbins down as far as i could see.

That's really the only reason we went i knew we wasn't gonna catch anything with it being 15 degrees last night they're just not up the creek yet but a good warm spell will get em up there.The boat worked out very well i was kinda proud of it after all the work we've done to it,gonna make a fine crappie rig,

Good report, thanks Bugs. May be heading out to a power plant lake in Southern Illinois tomorrow depending on whether my boat buddy can escape the office. I'm itching. If it doesn't work, I may be hitting the LOZ docks on Saturday instead. We'll see. Glad you got out!
